8minute Qigong & Acupresure point Grounding
Raj led a 8minute Qigong and acupressure session, guiding participants through various stretches, breathing exercises, and acupressure points. These practices were aimed at promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and enhancing intuition and wisdom. These are tools that could be used throughout the day for relaxation and stress relief.

How do we appreciate the important maternal figures in our lives?
We are joined by Raj Escondo (she/her or they/them) a healing justice practitioner who hosts mother-daughter retreats and supports the integration of body and land for people and organizations.
As we celebrate Mother’s Day in its many forms, we also recognize relationships are not easy. The challenge can allow us to grow like what writer Anais Nin says: “And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”
The Power of Presence
Presence alone won’t undo systemic ignorance, violence, and rugged individualism. However, it can highlight the first steps to unlearning, connection, and repair. It is where I connect to my known and unknown ancestors and their wisdom. For me, presence is where I meet the messiness of the moment. This practice is my roadmap to navigating my grief and anxiety as an ally.
